The application of the Brussels Convention 1968 and subsequent amending Conventions on civil jurisdiction is fast becoming increasingly important, requiring, as it does, close collaboration between the national courts and the Court of Justice. This work, based on a 1991 Colloquium, brings together all of the various issues raised by the Convention, and includes the consolidated text of the Brussels Convention, lists of cases interpreting the Convention and a selected bibliography. The contributors are drawn from the judges of and advisers to the Court, leading practitioners and academics. The book is available in English and French. |
